Our Process
Planning First. Always.
A lot of advisors jump straight to managing your investments. We don't. Before we recommend anything, we need to understand the full picture: your income, your goals, your taxes, your protection, your estate.
The Planning Process
Meeting one
Getting to know you
We start by listening. Before anything else, we want to understand your situation, your goals, and what's been on your mind. Just an honest conversation about where you are and what you're trying to accomplish.
Meeting two
Discovery & analysis
We take a thorough look at your full financial picture: income, savings, investments, insurance, taxes, and estate documents. We identify gaps, opportunities, and anything that needs attention before building your plan.
Meeting three
Plan presentation
We bring everything together into a clear, comprehensive financial plan. We walk you through what we found, what we recommend, and why, in plain language. You'll leave with a complete picture of where you stand and a roadmap for moving forward.
Meeting four
Finalize & implement
We answer questions, refine anything that needs adjusting, and begin putting the plan into action. This is where strategy becomes real steps, and where the ongoing planning relationship begins.
The Result
A thorough financial plan that serves as the baseline for every decision going forward, built around your life, your goals, and what matters most to you.
Ongoing planning & investment management
Once your plan is in place, our work together continues. Life changes, and your financial plan should change with it. We stay actively involved, meeting with you to review, update, and keep your strategy on track.
Investment management
We manage your investments in alignment with your plan, your goals, and your comfort with risk, adjusting as markets and life circumstances change.
Plan updates
Your financial plan isn't a document that sits in a drawer. We revisit it regularly, updating assumptions and strategies as your life and priorities evolve.
Tax & income planning
We work alongside your CPA to coordinate tax strategy, plan retirement income distributions, and reduce unnecessary tax drag over time.
Estate & legacy
We help ensure your estate documents stay current, beneficiaries are properly designated, and your legacy goals are reflected throughout your plan.
Protection review
We periodically review your insurance coverage to make sure you're appropriately protected, without paying for coverage you no longer need.
Life event planning
When something significant happens — retirement, an inheritance, a major purchase — we're available to help you navigate it right away.
Planning that actually moves with you
01
You start with a complete picture
Before we recommend anything, we understand everything. Your income, goals, taxes, protection, and estate all inform the strategy, so nothing is planned in a vacuum. Every recommendation has context.
02
Decisions have a foundation to come back to
Your comprehensive plan becomes the baseline. When life changes, a new job, a market shift, a family event, we don't start over. We revisit the plan, update what's changed, and keep moving forward.
03
You have someone in your corner long-term
We're not a one-time engagement. We get to know you, your family, your priorities, your history. That relationship means better advice over time, because we understand your full situation, not just the piece in front of us.
04
The plan evolves so you don't have to start over
Life rarely goes exactly as planned, and that's fine. A good financial plan is built to adapt. We expect things to change and build in flexibility, so your strategy stays relevant even when circumstances don't go according to script.
